Feeding
Parents/guardians are asked by the government to pack lunch for their children, but most of them do not do it, not because they do not want it, but they do not have enough food in their homes. Most families have one meal a day and that is supper, when all the family members are present. Some families, supper is not taken as expected (for instance they can not provide enough food for eight family members).
Education
Most rural schools do not have enough teachers, you can find a school with only five teachers teaching all the classes.That means some classes can not be attended to when all the teachers are teachning in other classes.
Girls
In rural areas old girls use cotton clothes as their sanitary towels. But they always donot go to school during their monthly period time. This is because those clothes need to be changed three times a day, if not done they develop a bad smell. they say at school they can not change them that’s why they prefer to stay at home during those periods so that they can change and wash those clothes and thus end up missing classes. That’s why ITA Friends Foundation came into existence in order to over come the above problems that the girls are facing while at school.
You may also donate in kind,used clothes ,shoes,food(posho,rice,beans,construction),sanitary towels,exercise and text books.
